10 Years of EPJ Applied Metamaterials

As we reach the final weeks of 2024, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of EPJ Applied Metamaterials (EPJ AM). Under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief Prof. Yang Hao and supported by an esteemed team of international Associate Editors and Editorial Board members, the journal has consistently published original research of the high quality. EPJ AM focuses on metamaterials with a focus on high impact engineering applications.(read the Aims & Scopefor more details).

Since 2016, EPJ Applied Metamaterials is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The journal has also been awarded the prestigious DOAJ Seal for demonstrating “best practice in open access publishing”. The journal is indexed in the most important indexation bases including  Scopus, EI Compendex  and  Web of Science (ESCI). The journal received its first Impact factor last year and, in the most recent Journal Citation Reports™ released in 2024 by Clarivate Analytics, the 2023 Impact factor is: 1.5 (2023 5-Year IF 1.2).

To celebrate this milestone, we have prepared a selection of the most downloaded and most cited articles.
